Description
Sturdy, straight blade à la Montmorency, the base stamped with "BS" and crown/"C7 1766" (Christian VII, 1766 - 1808) on the reverse. Elaborately crafted brass knuckle-bow hilt with thumb ring on the reverse, the main bar screw-mounted onto the globular pommel, wooden grip with leather cover (minor flaws) and brass wire wrap. Black leather scabbard with iron fittings (traces of rust) and three movable suspension rings. Length 120 cm. Heavy, beautifully preserved pallash.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
