Description

Very robust, slightly curved single-edged blade; stamped at the ricasso “Weyersberg & Stamm, Solingen” and “G” (cast steel). Iron basket hilt with seven cut-out holes (blackened on the inside) and a sword-knot slot; grip covered in black leather (showing wear), with a replacement brown sword knot. Heavy iron scabbard (with minor dents) featuring two movable carrying rings. Iron parts show traces of rust. Minor localized damage and signs of age. Length 110 cm.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
