Sturdy, straight single-edged blade fullered on both sides (pitting) with a double-edged point, the double-headed eagle below a crown etched into both sides, the maker's signature „Pottenstein" on the spine. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with crosspiece, openwork guard plate, the grip covered in black leather (imperfections, some areas re-blackened). The black leather-covered scabbard with a wooden core, iron mountings (dents, traces of solder), two movable suspension rings and reinforced locket. The iron parts somewhat pitted, signs of age and wear. Length 104 cm. A rare find, in good, used condition.Condition: II - III Questions about the lot?
