Beschreibung

Black silk with silver embroidery, silver fringes and four silver tassels in the corners. Obverse the national eagle above "Pionier-Batallion 6", reverse "Hann- Pion. Bat. Nr. 10". Leather covered metal staff with silver string and chain. Flag Dimensions ca. 31 x 26cm. The 6th (Prussian) Pionier Battalion was deployed in the Reichswehr on October 1, 1920, mainly of the Westfalian Pionier Battalions 7 and 24 in the first company and the Hannoverian Battalion No. 10 in the 2nd company. In 1934, the battalion was divided into Pionier Battalion Minden, Höxster and Holzminden. On October 15, 1935 the Battalion Minden officially became Pionier Battalion 6 which was annihilated in June 1944 at the Eastern front.
