Infantry officer's tunic, custom-made by Sartotius, Helmarshausen, with the regiment's special insignia, introduced 15 September 1939, based on the style of the guard uniforms of the Old Army: the dark green collar with long, double silver-embroidered "Gardelitzen" (guard braids), the cuffs with dark green Neuchâtel or French cuffs and silver-embroidered patches, the sewn-on shoulder boards with gold GD insignia, and the special cuff band with silver-woven Gothic lettering for the tunic.
