Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay; silver: cross spike base, rear spine, fluted spike and front squared visor trim; gilt star studs, gold officer front plate of a twelve-pointed star with the Mecklenburg-Schwerin coat of arms encircled by a laurel wreath and topped with a crown, attached by three screw posts; silver rounded chin scales with rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Mecklenburg cockades; tan leather sweatband and light green silk lining.
