Cap body in red wool with three strands of gilt soutache piping at each side, at top a Hungarian knot of four strands in gilt wire indicating superior officer, within a circular soutache piped border, black cloth cap band with two rows of oakleaves, branches and acorns hand-embroidered in gilt wire, trimmed with gilt soutache at top and bottom.
