Rare blue HBT (herringbone twill) Luftwaffe tropical service blouse with the seldom-encountered matching shoulder straps for a Flight-Paratroop enlisted man. Constructed in the standard Luftwaffe tropical cut with pleated upper pockets and false cuffs. The body is produced from blue HBT cotton fabric and features the typical skeletonized lining, with bandage pocket and belt-hook support components manufactured from grey silk. The tunic retains its original, blue-painted pebbled buttons, secured with split metal rings. All small split buttons for the cuffs, bandage pocket and collar neck liner remain present and appear originally sewn. The original embroidered national emblem is factory applied by machine in the characteristic zig-zag fashion. No visible depot or manufacturer stamps can be observed. A seldom encountered tropical variant in blue HBT fabric, complete with matching shoulder straps. Used but not abused example.
