Beschreibung

Model 1935 dress tunic (Waffenrock) of an Oberfeldwebel of Pionier-Lehr Battalion 2. Field-gray cloth with dark green collar and cuffs. Eight silver buttons, black Waffenfarbe for the combat engineers. The sleeve bears a finely hand-embroidered aluminum-thread badge indicating “Amphibious Assault Guide.” Aluminum-thread embroidered national eagle, collar patches (Litzen), and regulation shoulder boards are sewn on. The fixed shoulder boards feature the silver Gothic “L” for Lehr units. Interior with satin lining, bearing the regimental marking “3./Pi.-L.u.V.2” as well as the army acceptance stamp “geprüft”. Equipped with inner belt and button for a marksman’s lanyard. Rare example of a Lehr unit NCO’s parade uniform.
