Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay; gilt: round spike base, stars, rear spine, spike and front visor trim; officer front plate of gilt Prussian Reserve Eagle with the addition of an eight-pointed silver star and silver Saxon crest and a silver reserve cross, attached by two screw posts; gilt flat chin scales with rosette side posts; Officer Imperial and Saxe-Weimar cockades; brown leather sweatband, cream silk lining.
