Black lacquered leather body; front visor with tan underlay, rear visor with red underlay; silver: cross spike base, rear spine, polished spike and squared front visor trim; gilt spike base star studs (rear star stud missing), silver officer front plate of Dragoon Eagle with gold reserve cross and the Oldenburg coat of arms on an eight pointed star on the chest of the eagle, attached by two screw posts; gold rounded chin scales with silver rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Oldenburg cockades; brown scalloped leather sweatband and yellow silk lining.
