Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay; gilt: cross spike base, stars, rear spine, fluted spike and front visor trim, officer front plate of Bavarian Lions and shield with crown attached by two splintas, rounded chin scales (one side missing one scale) with rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Bavarian cockades; tan torn leather sweatband and green silk lining.
