Description

Single-edged blade with double fullers on both sides (pitting in places), the manufacturer's mark “W & St Solingen” at the ricasso. Lavish relief-decorated brass knuckle-bow hilt (traces of gilding), a pinned double eagle on the guard plate, smooth mother-of-pearl grip scales (occasional small cracks). Black leather scabbard (heavily rubbed) with decorated brass fittings. Signs of age and use. Length 95 cm.
