Description

Nickel-plated back-edge blade (stained, unmarked). Gilt, lavishly decorated non-ferrous metal basket (rubbed, knuckle-bow broken) with a fish-skin grip and wire winding. Black leather-covered iron scabbard (rubbed) with lavishly relief-decorated, gilt brass mountings, the royal cipher “FJI” on the locket. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 98 cm.
