Description

A total of approx. 320 photos in varying formats, pasted on brown cardboard pages, often with old lettering in white ink. Containing photos of officers (some in cavalry uniform), various aircraft, hot air balloons, destroyed machines and architecture, etc. Locations include St. Veit, Temesvar, Wippach, Bucharest, Udine, Bolzano, Casarsa, Mansue, Uci. In a contemporary burgundy half-leather album (scuffed, somewhat faded). One photo is missing. Slightly damaged in places, signs of handling and age. Dimensions of the album approx. 27 x 34 x 3.5 cm. Extremely rare, impressive album of historical interest featuring the royal-imperial Flying Corps in World War I.
