Description

Urn with biconical belly on a slightly outward-angled foot ring. Above the carination, a strap handle on the shoulder. Above the shoulder a high conical neck, closed at the mouth by an outward-sloping rim lip. On the surface all around very shallow vertical striations from smoothing. The lower handle attachment and a small area of the wall restored and retouched. Otherwise intact. Height 19.5 cm. CULTURAL ASSET!

Provenance: Acquired on the German art market in the summer of 2026. Previously in a private collection in Berlin since at least 1994.
