Description

Slightly conically tapered, round barrel with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. Brass front sight, an arrow mark struck twice on the side of the breech. Chiselled wheel-lock with external wheel and ring hammer (locking spring of the pan cover missing). With engraved and blackened bone inlaid walnut full stock with patchbox and bone nose. On the cheekpiece an oval plaque with the date “1656” under the monogram “GAK”. Iron trigger guard, the wooden ramrod with engraved bone tip. Length 130 cm. Including a modern-day wheel-lock key with wooden handle. Length 14 cm.

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
