Description

Octagonal rifled barrel in 15.5 mm calibre. Slightly rough bore, the top with dovetailed brass front sight and plain standing rear sight, signed "Valtin Röwer". Chiselled and engraved wheel-lock decorated with blossoms and a hunting scene, set trigger. Full stock with engraved horn nose, the left side of the butt stock with applied silver monogram, patchbox with horn lid and horn shoulder plate, richly engraved bone inlays of wild animals between flowers and scrolling foliage. Iron trigger guard with finger rests. Wood ramrod with bone tip. Forend replaced and repaired in several places. Length 105 cm.
