Description

The tankard made of ivory, exquisitely carved with a continuous battle scene featuring knights. The handle with spiral flutes at the base, fully sculptured in the shape of a warrior reminiscent of an Atlante. The raised coat of arms of the town of Erbach in the middle of the lid, which is decorated with bosses. Slightly stained, with minor defects here and there. The base made of painted wood. Height 24 cm. Current CITES expertise included.
