Cal. .44 BlackPowder, SN. 41631, matching numbers. Barrel length 82, frosted bore, some pitting. Six shots. Production date 1862. Single-line standard markings on the barrel, the cylinder with faded roll engraving. Various acceptance marks "C" and "D" on barrel and cylinder. Original finish rubbed off, some pinpricking. Trigger guard and front grip strap brass. Smooth walnut grips, the marking on the left one still visible. Some screws a replacement. Mechanically sound. Length circa 36 cm. An interesting specimen of a civil war-era gun!In recent wooden case with accessories (replicas) and key, dimensions 38.5 x 18.5 x 5.5 cm.
