Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. 43024, matching numbers, except cylinder. Barrel length 8", top-break system. The left of the frame marked “Starr Arms Co. New York”, the right “Starr's patent Jan. 15, 1856”. Various acceptance marks “M”. The original finish spotted and patinated, partially with some fine pitting. One-piece, smooth walnut grip with heavy wear, minor corner chips and edge damage, as well as 4 notches.
