Description
Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. ohne, barrel length 138 mm, still good rifling. Six shots. Contemporary British proof marks. The cylinder marked “Harvey's Patent”. The barrel top partly sanded, marked “Harvey' Patent - Breech Loading Revolving Pistol”. Fine foliate engraving on the side plates. Metal parts grey, partially patinated. Tool marks on the barrel. Screw at the bottom of the frame missing. The one-piece, dark walnut grip chipped, with a small compartment at the pommel. Cylinder wacky. The loading lever also serves as nipple key and screwdriver.
