Cal. .31(BlackPowder), SN. 262732, matching numbers. 5"-octagonal barrel, slightly frosted bore, good rifling. The barrel top with single-line company markings “ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S.AMERICA”. The five-shot cylinder with stagecoach robbery, marked “COLTS PATENT” above serial number. Patent designation repeated on the left of the frame. Trigger guard and grip straps of brass. Metal surfaces spotted, patinated. Smooth walnut grips.
