Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. 167581 , matching numbers. Barrel length 8", slightly frosted bore. On the barrel top faint, single-line address "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA". Six-shot cylinder. On the left of the frame "COLTS / PATENT", on the trigger guard "44 CAL". The finish mottled with some minor pitting. Trigger guard and grip straps made of brass, walnut grips.
