Description
Wood, carved; textiles, metal-thread braids, crimped metal strips, wire, beads, a faceted colourless stone; shaft and plinth probably wood, turned; painted base; contemporary glass dome. Oval adhesive label to the base rim, „Artegrecosud". A carved skull on a turned shaft over a square plinth, the shaft bound with black tulle and gold braid. Top hat with striped crown and gold bullion braid, an applied cluster of metal-strip rosettes, leaf forms, spherical forms and coloured beads to one side. Metal threads yellowed and in places dulled. The object is only partly assessable owing to the permanently fixed glass dome. Dimensions including dome H. 22.5 cm, diameter of base 14.8 cm.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
