Description

Sturdy, spotted straight blade with two fullers on each side, double-edged central point, the root with maker's mark "W.K & C", the back unmarked. Knuckle-bow hilt in non-ferrous metal, the folding, openworked guard showing an Eagle with imperial crown, fish-scale grip (rubbed), with metal appliquéd „WRII” and triple wire winding (parts missing). Intact finger strap. The steel scabbard with original bluing, a bit corroded, movable suspension ring. The sword knot a later replacement. Signs of age and wear. Length 94,5 cm. Rare!
