Cal. 11,15x60R, SN. 4811, Matching numbers, the original French factory numbers still partly visible. Bright bore. Barrel length 47cm. This gun was deactivated in the GDR by drilling a hole into the chamber. At a later stage this hole was patched up again. Tip of the firing pin missing. Receiver marked "1875" and "Mod. 73". Rear sight graduated 6 - 15. Bolt, front band and trigger guard in the white. On the left hand side of the receiver the typical safety for Chassepot carbines modified for Saxonia. Dark walnut stock with visible traces of wear, on the right hand side with Saxonian acceptance marks, on the left hand side serial number. The butt cap marked „12. T.B. R. 12.“. Both sling swivels.
