Description

Octagonal (replaced) barrel with smooth-bore in 13 mm calibre. Iron dovetail rear sight, front sight missing. Chiselled wheel-lock with a lockplate engraved with scrolling leaves and external wheel. The slender walnut full stock inlaid all-over with engraved and blackened bone in the form of animals, scrolling leaves and fruit bundles. Wooden ramrod with engraved bone tip. Iron trigger guard. Lock slightly pitted, the hammer spring and chain inappropriately restored, minimal losses at the inlays of the butt stock. Length 102.5 cm. Can be improved significantly by professional restoration.

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
