Description

Säbel M 1827 für Angehörige der "Ceylon Rifles" mit kräftiger, leicht gekrümmter Rückenklinge (fleckig, schartig) mit zweischneidiger Mittelspitze, an der Wurzel der Herstellerstempel "Hume London" (verputzt), Prüfmarke "Proved" aus Buntmetall, beidseitige Ätzungen mit Chiffre "VR" und Name der Einheit. Eisernes Korbgefäß mit Fischhauthilze (Fehlstellen) und Drahtwicklung, am Stichblatt im "Gothic Style" das Jagdhornsymbol, vernickelte Eisenscheide mit zwei beweglichen Trageringen. Dazu in neuer Fertigung ein schottisches Korbschwert und ein Kavalleriesäbel ähnlich M 1845 von Wilkinson. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 83 - 100 cm.
