Description
Sturdy single-edged blade (slightly stained), lavishly etched on both sides along half its length, with the crowned cipher “GRV” (King Georg V., 1910–1936) at the ricasso and the brass-inlaid hallmark “PROVED A”. Pierced iron basket hilt with crowned cipher “GRV”, fish-scale grip (abraded), triple copper wire winding. Brown leather-covered metal scabbard (abraded) with leather carrying strap.
