Description

Slender, nickel-plated blade of biconvex cross-section, each side with two grooves, central point, brass-inlaid brand “Proved T”, decorative etching with cipher “VR” beneath crown. Typical iron basket hilt lined with red cloth (partially faded), white leather and blue border strips, brown leather-covered grip with wire winding, fluted mushroom pommel. Nickel-plated iron scabbard with two movable suspension rings. Signs of wear and age. Length 103 cm.
