Description

A well preserved, bright blade with a crowned Erfurt mark, the back marked "Crown / W/15". Iron hilt with wooden grip panels. The steel scabbard painted black, rubbed, a bit corroded. Leather frog with a silver sword know, interspersed with blue filament. Some moderate damage, traces of age. Length 40,5 cm.
Bavarian officers replaced the obsolete sword with a bayonet.
