Description

Strong sawback blade, a bit mottled, with maker's mark "Simson & Co. Suhl", acceptance mark "Crown/W 15" on the blade, wooden grips panels, leather scabbard (stitching in the rear open), with iron mountings. Plus a Lebel-bayonet with a German silver hilt and a blued steel scabbard. Well kept blades, the iron parts mostly corroded, some damages, signs of age. As found, uncleaned. Lengths 53 and 65 cm.
