Description

Cal. .36 BlackPowder, SN. 3372 USG, octagonal 7½" barrel with bright bore. Six shots. On the barrel top New York company address, on the left marked "Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative - Nineteen Seventy One". Very good original finish on barrel and cylinder, roll-engraved with naval engagement scene. Loading lever, frame and hammer colour case hardened. Grip straps and trigger guard silver plated, with some oxidation. Smooth walnut grips. Mechanically sound. Length circa 24 cm.
In dark walnut case with commemorative markings on the lid, the brass emblem missing. Remainders of adhesive tape. The lid lined in blue velvet, the case in baize. Brass bullet mould, slightly damaged powder flask, cap box and tools. Key unfortunately missing. Dimensions 36 x 16 x 6 cm.
