Description

Museum-quality reproduction of the field marshal's baton awarded to him on July 19, 1940. State eagles and Iron Crosses are applied alternately along the shaft, which is covered in blue velvet. The gilded pommels feature tied oak leaf clusters, with an Iron Cross and a Luftwaffe eagle at the respective ends. Circumferential dedication inscription: "Der Führer dem Generalfeldmarschall Milch" [The Führer to General Field Marshal Milch] and "Zum Freiheitskampf des Großdeutschen Volkes 19. Juli 1940" [For the freedom struggle of the Greater German people, July 19, 1940]. Length approx. 50 cm.
