Description
The banner cloth made of golden-yellow silk, hand-embroidered, the front with a large Luftwaffe eagle in the centre, surrounded by a laurel wreath, a black swastika in each of the four corners. On the reverse, the Iron Cross in the centre, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath, the corners likewise each bearing a swastika. The flag edged with silver-plated bullion fringes, the cover cloth, which was attached to the flagpole, has typical small holes from the fastening nails. Hand-embroidered identification “M.A. No. 28”. Dimensions of the flag 140 x 123 cm. The standard was also used by Fallschirmjäger regiments.
