Description
Light-coloured wooden case with phosphated metal parts, the lock with a matching numbers plate and two matching numbers keys “5871”, the carrying handle of olive-coloured linen and the shield with the serial number in black “M 5871”. On the inside, eight screwed/glued wooden blocks covered with green felt, arranged in a row to hold the six encryption rotors. The lid on an iron hinge with a matching “counter block” and the incomplete stamp “Marineoberkommando in Norwegen – Druckschriftenverwaltung”, as well as the deleted stamp “... Ostsee”.
