Description
The chassis with two axles and a removable, enclosed body, the so-called LC-cased unit with two compartments: one as a switching room, one as a station room. Year of manufacture 1944. After the War the trailer was used for civilian purposes and the interior fittings/equipment were almost entirely removed. Typical older restoration period with self-made parts, sand-coloured lacquering with green camouflage pattern. The pendant was fitted according to construction plans from the Bundesarchiv Freiburg i.Br. and according to the equipment list and loading plan for a field telephone switching detachment, edition 1940 under L.Dv. 938. Unfortunately, the smaller details were not fully completed. However, all materials found on site (timber, nails, screws, tools, among others) are included for continuation of the work. According to the consignor's information, the vehicle is equipped with the following accessories (not verified, some also from the post-war period): in the switching room there is a switchboard for 60 lines with polarity reverser, lightning protection panel, exchange extension (3 parts), field measuring box, changeover switch, bell, four field elements, wall bracket lamp, two individual headsets for FF 33, one lamp, among others. In the station room and in the side doors: one mains connection unit, three Feldfernsprecher 33, five rifle holders (three of which are wall-mounted), three gas mask containers (two with mask), two electric heaters, four cable drums, one wall bracket lamp, sockets, two rucksacks, ten field elements, torch, eight wax wire rolls, one collapsible back carrier, one non-collapsible back carrier, two bundles of cord, two current testers, four additional FF 33, one hand cable drum, one further junction box, two fuel canisters in seat bench, one folding ladder (defective), two further fuel canisters, tools, among others. New German vehicle registration document (proof of ownership) and keys available. Due to the long period of storage the vehicle shows corrosion; a major Service is recommended. Completeness and function not verified. The pendant is sold as a restoration period object, it is not roadworthy and must be collected on a trailer. Location is Landshut.Condition: III + Questions about the lot?
