Description

A coat made of fine light-grey cloth with two slanted side pockets and gilded non-ferrous metal buttons (Extra Fein). The sewn-on shoulder pieces are made of white cloth with a red regimental insignia (O beneath a crown) sewn onto them. Light grey silk lining with an inside breast pocket. Occasional tears, stains, repairs, and signs of wear and age. Fine quality. See Herr/Nguyen, Die deutsche Kavallerie, p. 365.
