Description

Helmet body made of pressed felt with a fine black fabric covering (minimal holes), top side and visor made of leather (cracked), flat brass chin-scales lined with leather attached to "Model 91" buttons; on the right, the Imperial cockade for non-commissioned officers made of lacquered sheet metal. Attached to the front is the silver-plated Württemberg coat of arms beneath a crown, secured by leather wedges. An officer's cockade, inserted at the top, made of silver and black braid with a red centre and a black velvet reverse. Good brown leather lining on the flaps. Partially slightly damaged, with signs of wear and age. Rare.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
