Description
Visor cap for officers in the Dragooner Regiment No. 26 in blue cloth (superficial moth damage) with yellow piping and band (partially faded), two metal cockades, lacquered peak (craquelures), champagne-coloured lining (coming away at the border, stained) with golden owner's initials “S-H” below a closed crown, light leather sweatband. Together with, from Dragooner Regiment No. 25, a blue and white forage cap (manufacturer “Carl Armbrust, Elnfeld”) and – as a collector's replica – a blue and white visor cap for officers.
