Description

Hexagonal thrusting blade (darkened, partly pitted, unmarked) with etched damascus pattern. Lavishly relief-decorated, finely gilt knuckle-bow hilt of non-ferrous metal with knuckle guard on the tierce side, bearing the crowned Bourbon coat of arms, pommel in the antique-style with two masks, smooth mother-of-pearl grip scales (minimal flaws at the edges). Signs of age and use. Length 99 cm. Rare and impressive.
