Description

Cal. .28(BlackPowder), SN. 22853 , matching numbers. Octagonal barrel, length 3½", bore dull, with good rifling. Five shots. On top of the barrel two-line company markings. Original finish 75%. Beaded front sight. The cylinder marked "Colts Patent". On the left side of the frame, below the hammer, an unknown opening unprofessionally closed with a pin and sanded over. See last image with red arrow indicating repair spot. Smooth walnut grips with minor dings. In a little wooden case, lined in brown velvet, containing a bullet mold and a primer box.
