Description
A small pendant in the shape of a Valkyrie running to the left, wearing an ankle-length robe decorated at the edge with recessed triangular indentations featuring raised dots in the centre. The head has a pointed front representing the nose, almond-shaped eyes marked by incised lines, and hair falling backwards in thick, intertwined strands over the shoulders. On the smooth reverse side is an eyelet for attaching the pendant to a base. Height 2.8 cm. CULTURAL ASSET!Provenance: South German private collection, inherited from the consignor's father in the late 1990s.
