Description
Bronze with a brown patina, unsigned. A portrait of the Emperor in uniform circa 1810. Highly detailed, lifelike metal sculpture of the great Corsican military leader in uniform with a bicorne, overcoat, high boots, gloves, sword, telescope, saddle holster and bridle. Bronze plinth with natural undulating soil surface. The rider inserted into the horse. Inconspicuous 5 mm hole below the right flounce and a 2 mm hole in the plinth. Signs of age and handling. Dimensions 33 x 13 x 35 cm. The large and detailed statue in fine condition, with realistic facial features.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
