Hollow cast bronze, the front inscribed "NAPOLÉON" above an oval monogram, signed "Chaudet. f." at the bottom left. Larger-than-life, fully sculpted figure of Napoleon I in the style of an ancient emperor. Realistic, finely designed features. Square pedestal measuring 28 x 27 cm. Signs of age and handling. Total height 60 cm. Of superior quality. The bust was considered an official portrait and was well received among contemporaries.
