Silver fork bearing the monogram “AH”, a typical utilitarian item from Adolf Hitler’s early private household circa 1932–1935, of which only very few examples are known. Funk took this piece with her during the collapse of the Obersalzberg in 1945. Funk's Third Reich–era passport, issued on 12.08.1938. Three photos of Annemarie Funk, two of which made in ca. 1944. A previously unpublished, large-format framed original photograph of one of Hitler’s beehouses at the Lenzerwiese, mounted on the reverse of a U.S. Army “Ration Pack” cardboard from World War II. Annemarie Funk served from 1941 to 1945 as beekeeper in charge of the beehouses at the Obersalzberg. Appointed on the recommendation of the Bee Research Institute of Kirchhain (Marburg), she worked under the Obersalzberg Administration, which operated the beehouses on behalf of Martin Bormann. The installations were located at Lenzerwiese and in the Landlerwald, within the strictly secured Führer restricted area. The estate remained unopened in family possession for decades and has been preserved as a complete unit. Written confirmations and documentation from the Archive for Contemporary History of the Obersalzberg are included.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
