Thank you very much for your letter from the 14th of last month, which I unfortunately only found time to answer today. As far as I am aware, the Führer has seen your painting, which you presented to him as a gift on the anniversary of his coming into power. It is located in his private residence in Munich. You will receive a personal note of thanks as soon as the Führer's schedule permits. I will search for the newspaper sections that you submitted and forward them to you as soon as I obtain them. With German regards! Martin Bormann." Hand-signed by Martin Bormann and dated "Berlin, den 5. April 1934", written on the official stationery used by Adolf Hitler's Chancellery.
