Description

Slightly curved, single-edged blade forged in finely figured wootz-Damascus, cut with several fullers on both sides. Widened, double-edged point. The silver quillons and grip frame with relief decoration, rhinoceros horn grip plates. Wooden scabbard covered in shagreen leather, decorative stitching in fine silver wire at the side. Locket and carrying strap in silver, both struck with two Ottoman marks. Iron chape with fine, gold-inlaid décor. Length 101.5 cm.
