Description

Öl auf Leinwand, doubliert. Überlebensgroßes Portrait eines würdevollen, ruhenden Löwen. In der rechten unteren Ecke signiert und datiert "L. Meyer fecit / 1836", ehemals Louis Johan Hendrik Meijer (1809-1866) zugeschrieben. Stellenweise kaum wahrnehmbare Reparaturen der ersten Leinwand. Im geschwärzten und kräftig profilierten Rahmen aus Holz. Bildmaße 96 x 78, Maße gerahmt 114 x 96 cm.
